Visual positioning meets high-precision GNSS surveying

FJD Trion V10i RTK GNSS System

The FJD Trion V10i combines high-precision RTK positioning, dual cameras, IMU tilt compensation and visual measurement in one rugged GNSS receiver.

From setting out construction points to measuring locations that are difficult or unsafe to reach, the V10i helps surveyors capture accurate data faster, with less time spent positioning the pole and searching for points.

  • RTK accuracy: 8 mm + 1 ppm horizontal

  • AR Stakeout with real-time visual guidance

  • Calibration-free 60° IMU tilt compensation

  • Up to 15 hours rover operation

  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity

FJD Trion V10i RTK GNSS System

The FJD Trion V10i combines high-precision RTK positioning, dual cameras, IMU tilt compensation and visual measurement in one rugged GNSS receiver.

From setting out construction points to measuring locations that are difficult or unsafe to reach, the V10i helps surveyors capture accurate data faster, with less time spent positioning the pole and searching for points.

  • Up to 15 hours rover operation

  • RTK accuracy: 8 mm + 1 ppm horizontal

  • Visual Measure for hard-to-reach points

  • Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity

Capture More. Worry Less.

Surveying does not always happen on flat, open ground with every point conveniently within reach.

The V10i brings GNSS, visual positioning and tilt compensation together to make demanding fieldwork easier. Use AR guidance to find stakeout points, measure inaccessible locations from images, or capture points while the survey pole is tilted.

The result is a more flexible surveying workflow designed around the realities of the jobsite.

The integrated 1.41-inch true-colour OLED display provides clear access to receiver status in the field.

Physical controls allow operators to switch working modes, while audio feedback provides additional status information without requiring constant interaction with the controller.

Simple, immediate and designed for outdoor workflows.

FJD Trion V10i Key Benefits

Find Your Stakeout Point Visually

Stop relying solely on directional arrows and numbers to guide you to the next point.

With AR Stakeout, the V10i uses its cameras to display the target position within a live view of the site. Surveyors can see where they need to go and make final positioning adjustments directly from the visual guidance.

Why it matters

  • Locate stakeout points more intuitively
  • Reduce time spent interpreting conventional directional guidance
  • Navigate complex or congested sites more easily
  • Make final positioning clearer for field crews

Whether you’re setting out foundations, utilities, roads or site features, AR guidance helps turn coordinates into something you can immediately see and follow.

Measure the Points You Can't Reach

Some points are inconvenient to occupy. Others may be unsafe or practically impossible.

Visual Measure allows the V10i to determine coordinates from captured imagery, enabling non-contact measurement of locations within a typical 2–15 m range, with visual survey accuracy typically around 3 cm.

Capture at least five high-definition images and the V10i’s processing algorithm can be used to obtain coordinates from the imagery.

It’s a practical solution for measuring features such as:

  • Building corners and façades
  • Obstructed points
  • Trenches and excavations
  • Elevated features
  • Areas behind barriers
  • Locations where placing the survey pole is difficult or unsafe

60° Tilt Compensation

Keeping a pole perfectly vertical can slow you down, particularly around buildings, fences, vegetation, vehicles and other obstacles.

The V10i’s integrated IMU supports calibration-free tilt compensation up to 60°.

Tilt the pole, capture the point and keep moving.

This gives surveyors greater freedom to measure:

  • Building corners
  • Kerbs and edges
  • Points beneath vehicles or equipment
  • Locations beside walls and fences
  • Features surrounded by vegetation or other obstructions

With less levelling required between observations, everyday point collection becomes faster and more comfortable.

Ready for Tough Surveying Environments

The V10i is designed for everyday outdoor work – handling rain, rough handling and long hours onsite with distruption. The V10i is equipped with two integrated cameras:

2 MP forward-facing camera
Provides the live visual perspective used to support field navigation and AR stakeout.

5 MP downward-facing camera
Supports visual positioning and measurement workflows.

Combined with a powerful processor and multi-engine algorithms, the camera system delivers smooth visual guidance while giving surveyors another way to capture spatial information beyond conventional GNSS measurement.

Multiple Communication Options in One Receiver

The V10i can be used with either a compact keyboard controller or a tablet controller.

Powered by the Trion Survey app, the system allows you to conduct non-contact operations at your fingertips with simple swipes and clicks.
